Maya de Forest is a multidisciplinary artist living on Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg. While photography and books have been central to much of her work, de Forest is currently delving into a multimedia project focused around her late father’s dementia and his personal archive and collections. Her photo work has been exhibited in Canada, the U.S. and abroad and published in a variety of independent art publications. Her self published book I love here now, was also distributed and sold internationally.
